Maranda is a Surg Tech student at John Wood Community College who started attending late in life after spending 20 years as a stay-at-home mom and wife. She is excited to be going back to school and finds that John Wood has helped her to find herself again. As her children near the end of their high school education John Wood has stepped in and helped her son through dual enrollment classes. The staff has been very helpful in working with her schedule and getting her accommodated to the classroom again.
