Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and versatile Laravel and WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both Laravel and WordPress and the ability to design, develop, and maintain web applications and websites. You will be an integral part of our team, collaborating with designers, project managers, and developers to create dynamic, user-friendly solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain websites and applications using Laravel and WordPress
  • Design and implement new features, enhancements, and custom functionality
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in PHP
  • Work with relational databases (MySQL) to manage and optimize data storage and queries
  • Create and customize WordPress themes and plugins based on client requirements
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across both Laravel and WordPress platforms
  • Optimize websites and applications for performance, security, and scalability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric products
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with both Laravel and WordPress development
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React) is a plus
  • Knowledge of server management and hosting environments (e.g., Apache, Nginx) is a plus
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and debugging skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-4 years experience in related, similar career
  • Strong portfolio showcasing Laravel and WordPress projects
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Magento) is a plus
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for web development
  • Familiarity with modern deployment pipelines and continuous integration tools
