Job Description

This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt position that reports to the Assistant Director of Information Technology and is located on the JWCC campus in Quincy, Illinois. 

 

This position is responsible for coordinating the operation of all audio-visual services for the College, including, but not limited to:

  • Scheduling services.
  • Organizing delivery and return of equipment.
  • Maintaining equipment inventory.
  • Anticipating and responding to the audio-visual needs of staff and faculty.
  • Installing of audio-visual technical equipment.
  • Managing of Auditorium activities and functions; supervising of part-time audio-visual technicians as needed.
  • Handling technical aspects of the College’s security video, access control, and alarm system hardware and software.
  • Maintenance and administration of classroom technology including projectors, audio systems and Extron AV technology solutions.
  • Serving as primary point of contact for outside organizations utilizing College facilities related to audio visual needs.
  • Preparing department budget for Director approval.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Associates degree in related field preferred.  Appropriate certification, credential, or a minimum of 1-3 years of demonstrated relevant experience recommended.
