Job Description
Candidate must have the following skills:
- Ability to interpret welding blueprints, specifications, and symbols.
- Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines).
- Basic math skills, understanding fractions, decimals, and conversions.
- Geometry and Trigonometry, for accurate measurements and angles
- Detail Oriented
- Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies as the industry evolves.
- Proficiency in creating clean, precise welds using TIG welding equipment.
- Knowledge of how to control the arc, heat, and filler material.
- Ability to select appropriate filler rods and adjust techniques for different materials.
- Capability to weld in multiple positions: flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
- Experience with TIG welding machines, foot pedals for controlling amperage, and gas shielding setups.
- Skill in managing heat input to prevent warping, cracking, or burn-through.
- Competence in finishing techniques such as grinding, polishing, or brushing welds for aesthetic or functional requirements.
Full time positions available as well as part time that can lead to full time if desired. Pay range will depend on experience.
Full time positions work 4, 10 hour days, overtime as necessary. Health, Dental, Vision and AD&D insurance. Retirement plan with company match up to 3%. Paid holidays and PTO.
