Human Resources Coordinator
Reports to:  Chief People Officer
Classification:  Non-Exempt/Hourly

Job Summary:
The Human Resource Coordinator assists and facilitates the Human Resource processes for all locations.  This role maintains Team Member records, coordinates recruitment, on-boarding new hires, administers benefits, answers Team Member questions, and ensures compliance with HR laws, while supporting the overall HR strategy and operations of the Company. This role provides administrative support to the Human Resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.
Essential Functions:
  • Assists with job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, facilitating the onboarding process for new Team Members.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering Team Member requests and questions.
  • Maintains accurate confidential Team Member data in HR systems, including personal information, employment details, benefits, and performance reviews.
  • Manage Team Member benefits plans, including enrollment, changes, and communication.
  • Reconciles benefits statements.
  • Conducts audits of benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
  • Assists with the processing of terminations.
  • Assists with the preparation of performance evaluation process.
  • Assists with recruitment and interview process.  Tracks status of candidates in HRIS system, assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Addresses Team Member concerns, assists in resolving conflicts, and maintains positive Team Member relations.
  • Stay updated on employment laws and regulations, ensuring the company adheres to compliance standards.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
  • Associate’s degree in human resources or related field and /or equivalent experience.
  • At least two (2) years related experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellence organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Position Wage Range: $21.10-$25.00/hour
