JWCC to Host Pep Day January 29, 2025

John Wood Community College (JWCC) invites area high school students to join the festivities at Pep Day, a special event taking place on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at JWCC’s Quincy campus. The event runs from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM, with the opportunity for participants to stay and perform during the JWCC basketball games that evening.

Pep Day is open to high school students involved in Pep Band, Cheer, or Dance teams, offering a unique chance to showcase their skills alongside JWCC’s talented students and celebrate school spirit.

Participants will engage in interactive workshops and rehearsals with JWCC’s Pep Band, Cheer Squad, and Dance Team to prepare for their performances at the Blazer Women’s Basketball game at 5:30 PM and the Men’s Basketball game at 7:30 PM.

Event Highlights:

  • Networking with JWCC coaches, instructors, and current students

Pep Band participants are encouraged to bring their instruments, music stands, and water bottles, while cheer and dance attendees should wear comfortable workout clothes and appropriate shoes.
