JWCC to Offer Winter Break Online Classes in December
Classes are open to all students, and transferable to colleges and universities nationwide
John Wood Community College will once again provide classes for students during winter break. The four-week session is offered entirely online from December 19 to January 13. Courses range from two to three credit hours and students from JWCC or any college may enroll. High school students may also take courses if approved by their school’s guidance counselor.
“This winter session can be extremely productive for students who want to knock out a general education class while on break,” Kristen Ritterbusch, JWCC director of admissions shared. “Four-weeks is an accelerated timeframe, but for the right students, it can be a great way to get ahead or catch up, save money on tuition and transfer those credits anywhere.”
Registration for Winter Session is open now. JWCC students may use eligible fall financial aid toward winter session tuition. Students attending another college can save up to 30-50% compared to their home college tuition. Transfer students should check with their home advising office to confirm course transferability and equivalency.
Classes offered include Elementary Statistics, Ethics, American Government, Human Relations in the Workplace, Introduction to Sociology, Coaching as a Profession, and Health and Hygiene.
