John Wood Community College is hosting a VIP Blazers registration event on Thursday, November 19, from 1-6pm at the main JWCC campus in Quincy. No appointment necessary- open house style. Face masks are required, and social distancing guidelines will be observed.
The event will give prospective students the opportunity to complete the admissions and registration process for spring 2021 classes. Early registration is encouraged to provide students with the most course and schedule options.
JWCC’s admissions team will be available to answer questions about the college admissions process, career options, flexible class schedules this fall, financial aid and the many ways available to pay for college. JWCC academic advisors will be available to register admitted students for winter or spring courses. This opportunity is designed for any students wanting to get started at JWCC this spring: high school students wanting to take college classes while in high school, seniors graduating early in December, adult students wanting to move-up or switch careers and for recent high school graduates ready to find their path or possibly transfer-in to JWCC.
Spring classes will begin on January 11, 2021. If students are unable to attend this event, they may schedule an appointment to register in-person, by a virtual meeting or phone at their earliest convenience Monday-Thursday 8-5 and Fridays 8-12.
