Visual Art Scholarships

Portfolios are the artist’s record of their learning and personal achievement. Many of our classes require documentation of the learning process with project notebooks.

Keeping track of your creative process affirms subtle accomplishments along the way.

Transfer to another school or potential scholarship opportunities are enhanced with an excellent portfolio.

Our visual arts faculty are available to assist students interested in preparing a portfolio for scholarship opportunities.

Music Ensemble Scholarships

Excellence in Music Award (Tuition Waivers)

Full or half tuition waivers are awarded to students who have demonstrated excellence in vocal and/or instrumental music and will be participating in a JWCC performing ensemble.  Student awards are based on an audition with the music faculty. Apply for an audition request by filling out this online form.

Foundation Scholarships

• Raymond DeClue Scholarship
• Pauline Gallant Drumming Scholarship

These awards are offered to students who participate in a JWCC performing ensemble.  They vary in amount and are based on a talent audition before JWCC faculty. You can find more information about Foundation Scholarships on the JWCC Foundation website.
