Title IX

Title IX is a federal law that protects people from discrimination based on sex regardless of gender identity or orientation in education programs or activities receiving federal financial assistance. This law also covers sexual harassment and sexual assault as forms of sex and gender discrimination. John Wood is committed to keeping your educational environment free of threat and we want you to be informed about your rights as a student.

To report an incident, contact the Title IX Coordinator or another employee at the College. All employees receiving reports of a potential violation are expected to promptly contact the Title IX Coordinator. Any person has the right to report instances pertaining to Title IX to College personnel (confidential and non-confidential), law enforcement, or community sexual assault crisis centers.
